How does DELE scoring work?

Four skills (25 pts each). You must score 30/50 in each of two pairs: (Reading + Writing) and (Listening + Speaking). Scoring 59/100 total still means fail if one pair is under 30.

What is the eliminatory score in DELF?

If you score below 5/25 in any single skill, you automatically fail — regardless of your total score.

Will Portugal raise the citizenship requirement to 10 years?

Parliament approved a proposal, but the Constitutional Court rejected key provisions. The 5-year rule remains in force as of February 2026. Parliament can revise and resubmit — so if you're eligible now, don't wait.
